In Dänemark wird Standard Time in einem Einkaufszentrum gezeigt. Wie immer läuft ST auch hier synchron zur Zeit und dient sowohl als Uhr und auch als Videoinstallation. Von Anfang an haben Mark und wir Standard Time als ungewöhnliche Uhr und als eine Arbeit über Zeit gesehen. Ein Reiz der Arbeit ist die Ambivalenz von Anwendungsgegenstand und Kunstobjekt. ---
In Denmark Standard Time will be shown in a shopping mall. They show the video synchronized to the time. So it works for the visitors as a video installation and as a clock the same time. It was always the intention from Mark Formanek to present Standard Time as clock and he knows that Standard Time works even better as an art object when it isn´t shown in a classical art enviroment.
